Arrow keys or tap left/right to steer. Gather oats, dodge thistles.

How to play

  1. Your haggis rolls forward automatically down the glen.
  2. Tap or click to steer left and right, collecting oats as you go.
  3. Dodge obstacles in your path — rocks, logs, and other hazards.
  4. The game ends when your haggis collides with something it cannot pass. Try to beat your highest score.

Tips

  • Look ahead, not just at where your haggis is right now — gaps that look fine can close quickly.
  • Oats in the middle of a cluster are often harder to collect safely than those near the edges. Prioritise the safe ones.
  • Short, smooth taps give you better control than big sweeping movements.

About this game

Haggis Roll is an original Tanoshiibox creation set in the Scottish Highlands. A haggis — the legendary small round creature said to roam the hills (and also, of course, a traditional dish) — sets off rolling down the glen towards the loch, gathering oats along the way. The endless-runner format, where your score keeps climbing until you make a mistake, is designed to feel calm rather than frantic: soft colours, gentle music, and a pace you can ease into. It is our small tribute to Scotland, made with affection for the myths and landscapes of the hills.
